The great Dataran Merdeka (Independent Square) in Jalan Raja, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, will see another historical event this November for everybody to enjoy. The Negaraku Expo 2017, from 15 November to 15 December, will be a major exhibition on Malaysia’s achivements and future direction, filled with numerous entertaining and informative programmes. 

Malaysia celebrated her 60th independence this year, and through this six-decade period, much transformation can be seen. The unique and special expo is a collaboration among various Government ministries and agencies to display all the achievements by Malaysia to date. 

Visitors to the expo will be able to see the timeline of Malaysia’s history and development and appreciate how far Malaysia has come over the years. The historical site of Selangor Club will have specially-designated areas highlighting such topics of History, Development and Future. Besides the major exhibits, weekly themes will also focus on specific topics pertaining to tourism, culture and more. 

In addition to the informative exhibition display, Malaysia’s popular entertainers will also be on hand to add further excitement to the event. Among the local artistes who will perfom include singers Faizal tahir, Elizabeth Tan and Aida Jebat. The prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will officiate the event on 18 November 2017. 

More than 500,000 visitors are expected to visit the expo. 

Entrance is free, so all are invited to experience and enjoy the display. Visiting time is 10 am to 10 pm.
